Recent advances in VOCs and CO removal via photothermal synergistic catalysis

چکیده

Currently, air pollution is being exacerbated by rapid social, economic, and industrial development. Major pollutants include volatile organic compounds (VOCs) CO. Photocatalytic thermocatalytic technology can be used to convert VOCs CO into harmless gases effectively. Recently, photothermal synergistic catalysis has aroused much attention because of its higher performance than those individual photocatalytic processes. There have been many reviews on separate photocatalysts thermocatalysts for the treatment CO, but few focused catalysis. In this minireview, we concentrate recent progress efficient removal The typical (such as benzene, toluene, ethanol, formaldehyde, acetone, propylene, propane) are summarized analyzed. Furthermore, discuss use conventional reactor technology, such fixed-bed quartz reactors, removal. We also mechanism catalytic Finally, present perspectives

Recent advances in VOCs removal from water by pervaporation.

Pervaporation (PV) is a separation process in which minor components of a liquid mixture are preferentially transported by partial vaporization through a non-porous permselective (selectively permeable) membrane. PV is an emerging technology in environment cleanup operations, especially in the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from industrial wastewaters or contaminated groundwaters....

Recent Advances in Asymmetric Catalysis in Flow

Asymmetric catalysis in flow has been attracting much attention very recently because of the potential advantages over its batchwise counterpart, such as highthroughput screening and synthesis, easy automation with the integration of on-demand reaction analysis, little or no reaction workup, and potential long-term use of the catalysts in the case of heterogeneous catalysis. Homogeneous asymmet...

Review Recent Advances in DNA Catalysis

S ince the identification of the first artificial deoxyribozyme (DNA enzyme, DNAzyme) in 1994, significant progress has been made in our fundamental understanding of DNA’s capabilities as a catalyst. Many efforts have also used deoxyribozymes as critical components within analytical applications. This review addresses some of the recent developments in the area of DNA catalysis, with focus on d...

Recent advances in nanoformulations for co-delivery of curcumin and chemotherapeutic drugs

The application of chemotherapy in cancer treatment has been limited due to cause side effects such as toxicity against normal cells and drug resistance. In recent years, numerous studies have been focused on using natural products with chemotherapeutic drugs to enhance therapeutic efficiency and reduce cytotoxicity. On the other hand, encapsulation of drugs into nanoparticles (NPs) can improve...

Artificial metalloenzymes for enantioselective catalysis: recent advances.

Catalysis is the most efficient strategy for the preparation of enantiopure products. Homogeneous and enzymatic catalyses are in many respects complementary in terms of substrate and reaction scope, operating conditions, enantioselection mechanism, etc. In terms of performance optimization, directed evolution methodologies outperform combinatorial ligand libraries. With the aim of combining the...
